KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Of the more than 42,000 obstetricians & gynecologists in the United States, Tri-Cities specialist David Marden, DO, FACOG, a Holston Medical Group physician, is one of only 12 trained in performing two new revolutionary procedures that are receiving national media attention—Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation™ (LVR) and Designer Laser Vaginoplasty™ (DLV).

Following childbirth and as you age, the muscles and ligaments surrounding the vagina can become damaged or weakened resulting in “vaginal relaxation”—a very common problem. The pioneered laser technique is a gentle precision procedure with controlled accuracy that results in a relatively bloodless surgery, rapid healing, and resumption of daily activities in a short period of time. A related cosmetic procedure—designer laser vaginoplasty (DLV)—is a cosmetic procedure for women who are dissatisfied with the either the discomfort or the aesthetic appearance of their genital structures (often the result of hereditary characteristics, childbirth, trauma and aging).
