Family physician Alison D. Whitman, MD, joins HMG Primary Care at Abingdon
Wednesday, January 9, 2008KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Holston Medical Group is pleased to welcome family physician Alison D. Whitman, MD. Dr. Whitman comes to HMG Primary Care at Abingdon from the Family Physicians of Johnson City and Piney Flats Urgent Care. Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Whitman graduated magna cum laude from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. She received her doctorate of medicine from ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine. Following, she completed her internship and residency training through the Family Practice Residency Program of ETSU. Dr. Whitman is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Tennessee Medical Association. She and her husband, Jamie, make their home in Bluff City, Tenn., where they most enjoy spending time with their children: Emily and Elizabeth Jaylin. Dr. Whitman is currently accepting new patients.
