HMG's Orthopaedic Center of the Southeast site wins 2009 WebAward
Tuesday, October 27, 2009 KINGSPORT, Tenn. - A member of the HMG “Family of Care,” The Orthopaedic Center of the Southeast website has earned the 2009 WebAward. Designed by BCTI, The Orthopaedic Center of the Southeast website was recognized as the winning entry in the “Healthcare Provider Standard of Excellence” category.
“Congratulations to BCTI for their leadership and design work in garnering this award,” says HMG’s Chip Childress, director of IT. “BCTI has designed four websites for Holston Medical Group and each site has been outstanding.”
Within the WebAward judging, three or more expert judges review submitted sites based on seven criteria (on a scale of 0 to 10), including: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting, and ease of use.
The Web Marketing Association was founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and development of the best websites on the World Wide Web. Staffed by volunteers, this organization is made up of Internet marketing, online advertising, PR, and top web site design professionals who share an interest in improving the quality of online advertising, internet marketing, and website promotion.
