In preparation for your endoscopy, please DO NOT eat or drink anything after midnight the night prior to your procedure. If you have any questions, please call and ask to speak with a nurse. You will need to have someone drive you home following the procedure as you will be drowsy.

Important

• NO ASPIRIN or BLOOD THINNERS (Motrin, Coumadin, Plavix, Aggrenox, etc.) 5 days prior to the procedure.
  
• Do not take any medications the morning of your procedure unless they are for an irregular heartbeat, seizures, or breathing problems. If so, please take them with a small sip of water.
