Dr. David Morin Appointed to ACRP Board of Trustees

Dr. David MorinHolston Medical Group is privileged to announce that David Morin, MD, RPh, FACP, CPI has been appointed to serve on the Board of Trustees for the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP).

ACRP supports clinical research professionals through membership, training and development, and certification. Founded in 1976, ACRP is a Washington, DC-based nonprofit organization with more than 13,000 members who work in clinical research in more than 70 countries. ACRP’s vision is that clinical research is performed ethically, responsibly, and professionally everywhere in the world. ACRP’s mission is to promote excellence in clinical research.

The ACRP Board of Trustees is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organization, ensuring the necessary resources, and providing organizational oversight. The Board of Trustees is comprised of members from a diverse set of professional backgrounds that are carefully chosen to represent the interests of ACRP’s global membership.

Dr. Morin is well known internationally for his leadership in the profession of clinical research receiving multiple awards including the prestigious “Outstanding Physician Leadership in the Profession” by The Academy of Physicians in Clinical Research (APCR). Dr. Morin has served as a leader in clinical research since 1989, conducting hundreds of clinical trials ranging from Phase I to Phase IV. Dr. Morin is published author and a featured speaker at international conferences on clinical research including ACRP Global and MAGI. He currently serves on the ACRP Governance Committee and is the 2016 ABoT liaison for the ACRP Awards and Recognition Committee.
