Holston Medical Group (HMG) announces the addition of Daniel Carroll, MD and Mitzi Musick, ANP-BC, to HMG Primary Care at Medical Plaza, 105 W. Stone Dr., Suite 3A, effective July 5, 2022.
Dr. Carroll and Musick have been providing primary care in the Kingsport community for many years, and are well-known and respected throughout the region.
Dr. Carroll has over 33 years of experience in primary care, caring for patients of all ages across generations. He is excited to join a physician-owned, independent multi-specialty group and believes it will be beneficial for the patients he cares for. “I’m excited to join HMG where my patients can benefit from their coordinated care model,” said Dr. Carroll. “I’m looking forward to working with the other HMG providers, partnering with them to provide our community with high-quality, cost-effective healthcare.”
With 22 years of experience, Musick always knew she wanted a career in health care. “I started as a CNA and worked my way up to become an advanced nurse practitioner,” said Musick. “I chose primary care because I have a passion for learning about each individual patient and enjoy building relationships with them. Not only do you get to know your patient, but you also meet and build relationships with their family, who help supports their journey.”
Dr. Carroll received his doctorate degree at East Tennessee State University – Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, TN. and completed his residency at University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville, TN.
Musick received her Master of Science in Nursing – Adult Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN. and completed her undergraduate from Milligan College, Elizabethton, TN.
