About Meredith Montgomery, MSN, CNM
Montgomery knew from an early age that her dream was to become a nurse and care for people. She always loved children and babies, which made labor and delivery an easy choice for her nursing specialty. As she continued through her career, she wanted the opportunity to provide more specialized care and made the decision to pursue midwifery.
“I enjoy empowering women in their decisions and ensuring their voice is heard,” said Montgomery. “My goal is to care for women from adolescence, to their first pregnancy, multiple births and menopause. I want to be with her through all her seasons of life.”
Montgomery is passionate about caring for the whole woman, including but not limited to her support system. She provides a safe and comforting environment that is welcoming to each woman and those accompanying them on their pregnancy journey. “I am ready to love and care for this community,” said Montgomery.
Montgomery obtained her Associates Degree of Nursing at Mayland Community College, (Spruce Pine, NC.), her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at King University, (Bristol, TN.), and her Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery at East Carolina University, (Greeneville, NC).
Montgomery resides in Boones Creek with her husband and three young daughters. In her spare time, her family runs a small farm with cattle and chickens.
