About Dr. Axelrad
Dr. Axelrad is a family medicine practitioner. She provides personalized care for patients of all ages, from infants to grandparents. “Genetics, relationships and many other factors impact your health. Personally knowing my patients helps me recommend the best solutions to keep them their healthiest.”
Some of her special interests include nutrition and women’s health. Axelrad sees herself as a guide to helping patients make informed decisions about healthcare. “Whether it is family planning, overcoming addiction or living with a chronic disease, I work with my patients to help them achieve their health goals.
Community outreach is important in helping people in our area maintain their best health. Axelrad looks forward to participating in some of these programs. She especially enjoys educating teens and adults in nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Axelrad and her husband live in Colonial Heights with their three daughters. They enjoy traveling as well as family activities such as hiking and visiting the lake. She also plays classical clarinet, runs and scuba dives.
