Holston Medical Group (HMG) welcomes pediatrician, Sarah Seeley-Dick, DO, to HMG Primary Care at Sapling Grove, located at 240 Medical Park Blvd., Suite 3000, Bristol, TN.
Dr. Seeley’s interest in medicine began at an early age, watching the care her mother provided for their small community of Temple Hill, KY. Her mother was a general practitioner and practiced from an office in their family home. She saw the love her mother had for her patients, and her passion for partnering with them to help improve their lives. It was then that she knew she wanted to follow in her mother’s footsteps.
Dr. Seeley has a preventative approach to the care she provides, working to identify and treat pediatric health needs early in life.
“I highly encourage screening early and often to help identify underlying root causes before they create a significate issue,” said Dr. Seeley. “The effects of COVID on children have made it even more important to screen for depression, anxiety, and other behavioral health issues, providing a comprehensive approach to pediatric care – mind, body, and spirit.”
Part of Dr. Seeley’s holistic approach to care also includes fostering a sense of confidence and achievement in each child she cares for in her practice.
“I have a big passion for helping kids figure out what their options are in life and encouraging them to go for it,” said Dr. Seeley. “I’m like their cheerleader; I want them to feel like anything is possible and within reach.”
Dr. Seeley received her doctorate degree at University of Pikeville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Pikeville, Ky. and completed her residency at University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga, TN.
Dr. Seeley enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children on their 500-acre working farm. She loves to travel, play piano, read, and quilt.
