Our team at HMG Pediatrics at Abingdon aims to provide our patients with the highest level of care. We focus on child wellness for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents through 21 years of age.

About our Pediatricians
Dr. Sarah Seeley-Dick has provided pediatric care to Abingdon and the surrounding areas since 2012. She takes a preventative approach to caring for her patients, working to identify and treat pediatric health needs early in a child's life. Part of Dr. Seeley’s holistic approach to care also includes fostering a sense of confidence and achievement in each child she cares for in her practice.
"I have a big passion for helping kids figure out their options in life and encouraging them to go for it,” said Dr. Seeley. “I’m like their cheerleader; I want them to feel like anything is possible and within reach."
Dr. Lindsay Brianna Lancaster joins Dr. Seeley in providing the Abingdon and surrounding area with comprehensive pediatric care focused on all aspects of a child’s health. She also takes a preventative approach and believes that a strong partnership with the child’s parent or guardian is key to appropriately addressing any health concerns.
"The interest and investment that the parents make with their children's health is such an important part of pediatrics," said Dr. Lancaster. "I feel like listening to the parents, and my patients is critical for me to address their issues. We work together for a positive outcome."

Further, FollowMyHealth® provides you with secure messaging with your child’s pediatrician so you can ask questions, and request appointments and medication refills right at the click of a mouse!

Pediatric Subspecialties
HMG recognizes that children often have special pediatric needs. For this reason, our providers bring with them diversified areas of pediatric subspecialties and special pediatric interests including adolescent medicine, asthma therapy, and behavioral medicine.
Well-Child Exams
Scheduling well-child exams several months in advance will allow you to see your provider of choice. Because we must allow room for same-day sick appointments within each day’s schedule, we must limit the number of well-child exams scheduled on any given day.
Your Comfort in Mind
We strive to make your visit with us enjoyable. That’s why we are pleased to provide separate well- and sick-child waiting areas. We thank you for our cooperation in helping us foster an environment of concern for those we are privileged to serve.
Same-Day Sick Exams
When your child is ill, we will do our best to accommodate you with an appointment. If we are unavailable by phone, you may leave a message for our triage nurse at any time. Your call will be returned in the order in which it was received. Please note that HMG does not recommend dispensing antibiotics without being seen by a provider.
Provider On-Call
If you have a question or concern that must be addressed during the night, please contact the office of your pediatric provider. There, you will be given instructions as to how to contact the provider on-call. While we are pleased to offer “on call” services, please reserve questions regarding feedings and medication doses for the daytime hours. As always, in the event of a life-threatening situation, please call 911 immediately and not the provider on call.
Keeping Your Appointments
In trying to provide for the care of children who need same-day sick appointments, we ask that you notify the office if you cannot keep a scheduled appointment. Please know that 24 hours of advance notice is greatly appreciated. This advanced notice may enable us to provide care for an ill child.
Electronic Health Records
Pediatric patients of Holston Medical Group receive the added benefit of electronic health records. Unlike paper charts that are restricted to a single physician’s office, electronic health records can be accessed from any HMG pediatric location, including our HMG Urgent Care locations.

Preparing for the arrival of your little one often includes choosing your pediatric provider team. At HMG Pediatrics, we’re pleased to provide you and your growing family a glimpse of our facilities, services and practices by offering private prenatal tours. Please contact the HMG Pediatrics location of your choice and ask to speak with the office manager should you be interested in arranging a tour.
