Dr. Belanger developed an interest in medicine early on, inspired by his father who was a doctor. He was captivated by the medical field and always sought a career that involved direct interaction and the opportunity to assist others.
Belanger earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery from Des Moines University. He concluded his residency in podiatric surgery at James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
