Callie Montgomery, FNP

Callie’s mother is a nurse and always encouraged her expressed interest in a career in medicine. Ultimately, it was her mother’s love for helping people that guided Callie toward continuing her education to become a nurse practitioner.

“I’ve worked in acute care for years which focuses on managing a specific illness but is often not conducive to developing a relationship with my patient. With this new role, I’m looking forward to getting to know patients on a personal level,” said Callie. “I believe in developing partnerships with patients so that we can work together to determine the best plan of care for their individual needs.”

Callie received her Master of Science in Nursing specializing in family practice from East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, TN, as well as a Master of Science in Nursing with a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Acute Care and Trauma from King University in Bristol, TN. She received her undergraduate degree from East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, TN.

She enjoys spending time with her husband and son on their farm, Dixieland Cattle Company, in Chucky, TN, where they raise and show Simmental cattle.
