Swayne always knew she wanted to become a healthcare provider and realized she had a passion for labor and delivery early in her career. Swayne appreciates natural birth and enjoys coaching a patient through the entire process.

“Pregnancy can affect everyone differently. I want to meet patients where they are, listen to their needs, and understand how I can help them have the best personalized experience,” stated Swayne.

“I enjoy forming relationships with mothers throughout their pregnancy,” said Swayne. “I love the process of birth and delivery. Helping families bring babies into the world is beautiful, and as their midwife, I am honored to be there with them during this journey.”

Swayne obtained her Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery at Frontier Nursing University (Versailles, Ky) and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at East Tennessee State University (Johnson City, Tenn.). Swayne enjoys spending quality time with her husband and four-year-old son. She enjoys RV camping, kayaking, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and helping underserved communities through Mission Trips.
