Today, Holston Medical Group expands its urgent care services into Abingdon, VA. HMG Urgent Care at Abingdon is located at 631 Campus Drive in the former HMG Primary Care at Abingdon location. HMG Primary Care at Abingdon is now located across the parking lot in the newly built 22,000 square-foot facility at 641 Campus Drive. This investment enhances HMG’s growing support for the health of the Abingdon community, providing local residents with a centralized point for high-quality, cost-effective care for both everyday health and urgent care needs.

As part of this growth, additional clinical support has been added to the HMG Urgent Care team. Southwest Virginia native Sasha Musick, FNP-BC, and Robin Floyd, FNP, have joined HMG’s urgent care team, bringing extensive experience and a strong commitment to patient care. Their presence will strengthen the community’s access to quick and convenient services for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses, ensuring that patients receive timely attention without compromising care.

HMG Urgent Care at Abingdon is HMG’s third urgent care center, including HMG Urgent Care at Bristol and HMG Urgent Care Center at Medical Plaza. The new location will offer convenient hours seven days a week (Monday – Friday 8 am – 8 pm; Saturday 8 am – 6 pm; Sunday 8 am – 4 pm) with flexible options for patients who need immediate attention for non-life-threatening care.
