Holston Medical Group is proud to welcome Matthew Williams, PA, to its team of highly skilled providers dedicated to guiding patients through life’s important health moments. Williams will care for patients at HMG Orthopedics & Sports Medicine at Medical Plaza, 105 W. Stone Drive, Suite 4B, Kingsport, TN. He joins Cory Knecht, MD, in offering collaborative, personalized care that focuses on restoring function, relieving pain, and improving quality of life and health outcomes in the community.
A Kingsport native, Williams brings a deep-rooted commitment to his community and a passion for patient-centered care. His journey into medicine began as a surgical technologist, where he discovered a strong connection to the surgical aspect of patient care. After five years, Williams sought to play a more integral role in patient care, from initial consultation to recovery.
“I am looking forward to treating my patients from their first visit and supporting them throughout their entire treatment process,” said Williams. “Whether they’re managing joint pain, recovering from an injury, or considering surgical intervention, I want to guide and support them every step of the way and provide the best care possible.”
Specializing in orthopedic and sports-related injuries, Williams emphasizes a team-based approach to care, working closely with physicians, therapists, and patients to develop individualized treatment plans. “The best outcomes happen when patients are fully informed and involved in their care. My goal is to help them achieve and maintain a pain-free, active lifestyle,” he added.
Williams enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter. An avid outdoorsman, he participates in slow-pitch softball, dirt bike racing, and other recreational activities. The Williams family are active members of Christ Fellowship in Kingsport.
