HMG Clinical Research Director, Dr. David Morin, has been appointed to serve on the 2017 Academy of Clinical Research Professionals (the Academy) Board of Trustees.
An independent affiliate of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), the Academy administers ACRP Certification programs for clinical research professionals.
The Academy’s mission is to promote and maintain high standards and best practices in clinical research by recognizing those professionals who demonstrate a well-defined competency through valid and reliable credentialing programs. As a member of the Academy Board of Trustees, Morin will provide leadership and assist the Academy with furthering their mission, providing progressive best practices in clinical research efficiencies, certifications and training.
Morin is also a member of the 2017 ACRP Board of Trustees.
A Board Certified Internal Medicine physician and Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), Morin has served as the Director of Research for Holston Medical Group since 2008. Morin is a published author who has developed investigator initiated trials (IIT) and has co-founded several companies. Morin has been a member of the ACRP Board of Trustees since 2016 and also serves on the Governance and the Award and Recognition Committee. Morin is a past recipient of ACRP’s international award “Outstanding Physician Leadership in the Profession” awarded in 2012.

With six locations across the Tri-Cities, HMG CR has conducted over 740 phase II-IV pediatric and adult clinical trials with its physician investigators having extensive experience in many disease states and conditions.
