Holston Medical Group welcomes Tina Graham, FNP-C, to HMG Primary Care at Medical Plaza, 105 W. Stone Dr., Suite 3, joining Daniel Carroll, MD, Melanie Davis, FNP, and Mitzi Musick, ANP-BC, in providing access to high-quality, cost-effective care for the entire family.
Graham is a Kingsport native who knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare to play an active role in the health and well-being of her community. Graham started her healthcare career as a respiratory therapist and has over 20 years of combined healthcare experience. As a nurse, she cared for patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
“As a primary care provider, I want my patients to have a voice in their healthcare decisions,” said Graham. “I am an active listener and motivate my patients to achieve their goals through counseling, educating, and advising treatments for their healthcare journey.”
With extensive experience managing patients with multiple chronic conditions, Graham is particularly passionate about caring for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and diabetes. Like her colleagues, s he works with her patients to implement lifestyle changes that allow them to live long and active lives.
She uses her expertise to provide compassionate and whole-person care. “I want to provide the best care possible, starting with listening and compassion. I care about my patients and understanding their challenges helps me provide personalized care that addresses their unique needs,” stated Graham. “Because I grew up in this area, I strongly connect to my patients and the community. I am here for them through all of life’s moments.”
Graham received her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at East Tennessee State University (ETSU), Johnson City, Tenn, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from King College, Bristol, Tenn., and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Tusculum University, Greeneville, Tenn.
Tina enjoys spending time with her family when she is not at work. She enjoys watching her children’s sporting events and is an avid Tennessee Volunteer fan.
