Holston Medical Group HMG welcomes certified nurse midwife Cassie Swayne, CNM, to Seasons for Women and is accepting patients at Seasons for Women in Bristol, located at 320 Bristol West Blvd, Bldg. 1 – Suite 2C, Bristol, TN 37620.
Swayne always knew she wanted to become a healthcare provider and realized she had a passion for labor and delivery early in her career. Swayne appreciates natural birth and enjoys coaching a patient through the entire process.
“Pregnancy can affect everyone differently. I want to meet patients where they are, listen to their needs, and understand how I can help them have the best personalized experience,” stated Swayne.
Swayne is the most recent addition to HMG’s team of primary and specialty care healthcare professionals. Like her colleagues, she embodies the organization’s mission to provide quality medical care that exceeds patients’ expectations and builds lasting relationships. Leaning on the shared philosophy of whole-person healthcare, she and the Seasons for Women team will continue to ensure families in the Tri-Cities have access to empathetic, high-quality maternal care.
“I enjoy forming relationships with mothers throughout their pregnancy,” said Swayne. “I love the process of birth and delivery. Helping families bring babies into the world is beautiful, and as their midwife, I am honored to be there with them during this journey.”
Swayne obtained her Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery at Frontier Nursing University (Versailles, Ky) and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at East Tennessee State University (Johnson City, Tenn.). Swayne enjoys spending quality time with her husband and four-year-old son. She enjoys RV camping, kayaking, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and helping underserved communities through Mission Trips.
