About Drew Kindle

Kindle is a Kingsport native and had an interest in medicine from an early age when he became an HMG patient. “I had some special health needs and was diagnosed with celiac disease early on,” Kindle said. “It was hard because there weren’t many options from a dietary standpoint, but Dr. Mary Pat Francisco and the entire care team were so amazing, helping me and my family through it all. It was their example that encouraged me to go into the medical field so I could provide the same compassionate care that I received.”

As a high school athlete, Kindle was injured and went to physical therapy for his rehabilitation. It was through this process and the relationship his physical therapist built with him that drew him to this area of medicine.

Kindle enjoys fostering a positive relationship with his patients through education. “I come from a long line of educators in my family”, said Kindle. “Physical therapy is a great way to take care of your whole health and education around what the human body is capable of, healthy lifestyle, stress management, and nutrition are important to setting attainable goals.”

Kindle is a founding member and worship leader of the Risen Life Fellowship Church in Johnson City, TN. He enjoys a wide variety of music and can play four instruments. Kindle enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two dogs.
