Dialysis Clinic Inc. (DCI) and Holston Medical Group have joined together to open Kingsport Kidney Center (KKC), located at 2002 Brookside Drive #102 in Kingsport. KKC offers full-service kidney care and dialysis treatments to patients living with chronic kidney disease (CKD).

“DCI is proud to work with Holston Medical Group to provide life-saving care to CKD patients in the Kingsport area,” said Eric Lee, DCI Senior Operations Director. “Our organizations have the same philosophies, placing the patient as the number one priority, and we look forward to providing the high-quality care we are both known for, so CKD patients can live their best lives possible.” Led by Dr. Sharan Kanakiriya, MD, HMG Nephrologist, the Kingsport Kidney Center’s sole reason for existence is to meet the needs of individual patients who are living with chronic kidney disease. “We see every patient as a unique individual with unique needs,” said Dr. Kanakiriya. “We know that dialysis treatment can be a difficult adjustment for our patients and their family members and loved ones and we believe in partnering with each patient to address their physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs.”

The partnership between DCI and Holston Medical Group will allow the community to have access to a state of the art dialysis center, providing chronic kidney disease patients with the latest advances in CKD treatment, providing them with options that best meet their care goals and needs.
