David, Morin, MD, RPh, FACP, CPI, medical director of HMG’s comprehensive clinical research efforts, including HMG Clinical Research and OnePartner Research, recently gave the keynote presentation at the annual board meeting of Acurian, the world’s largest study recruitment company.
Pharmaceutical leaders from across the industry were present at the Philadelphia, Pa., meeting of the Acurian advisory panel to hear Morin’s talk, “Reversing the Devolution of Clinical Research.” The focus of his presentation was that of addressing the problems in U.S research that, over the course of the last decade, have resulted in global outsourcing of clinical research. He concluded his presentation with details as to how to keep clinical research efforts within the U.S.
“It was quite an honor to be invited to speak to this renowned board, and is indication that Holston Medical Group and OnePartner are getting national attention regarding our research efforts,” says Morin.
Throughout Morin’s 25-year medical career, he has served on a host of boards and committees, many aimed at improving the quality of clinical research as it relates to improved patient care.
