Holston Medical Group (HMG) welcomes Charlotte Ann Townsend, MD to HMG Primary Care at Abingdon, located at 631 Campus Drive, Abingdon, Virginia, joining Dr. Alison Whitman in providing care to the Abingdon community.
Dr. Townsend has been a member of the HMG Family of Care since 2017 and she has been providing care to the residents of Southwest Virginia for 16 years.
“Medicine is always changing,” said Dr. Townsend. “As a physician, it’s important that we adapt to those changes and make a deep impact for those we serve. I believe that strong relationships with my patients allow me to help them navigate the sometimes complex system of healthcare.”
Dr. Townsend is accepting new patients and will be providing care in Abingdon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Dr. Townsend also provides care at C-Health of Lebanon on Mondays and Thursdays.
