Holston Medical Group (HMG) announced today the opening of a new primary and specialty care office located at 617 Campus Drive Abingdon, VA, bringing high-quality, cost-effective care to the area.
Serving the Abingdon area for over twenty years, the clinic provides easy and convenient access to primary care with Dr. Alison Whitman and Robert Rutherford, FNP, dermatology care with Dr. Douglas New, and gynecologic care with Seasons for Women provider Dr. Nicole Long.
In addition, Christina Danser, FNP, will be joining this location and providing care on Monday, November 30th, offering the availability of same day primary care appointments.
The new 17,000 square foot location also provides convenient, on-site X-Ray, bone densitometry, ultrasound and laboratory services and is strategically designed to create a safe and effective patient flow.
“As a resident of Abingdon, I’m excited about our expansion and the additional conveniences and safety that it will afford our patients,” said Alison Whitman, M.D., primary care physician at HMG Primary Care at Abingdon. “During a time where exposure and safety are a top concern, we are excited to move into our new space which will allow us to better serve our patients and provide them with peace of mind that they are making the right choice with HMG.”
HMG in Abingdon has the ability to provide an additional level of safety to patients, separating sick patients from those arriving for routine or preventative care.
