Holston Medical Group (HMG) welcomes Nicole Nichols, FNP, to HMG Primary Care at MeadowView, located at 2033 MeadowView Lane in Kingsport.
Nichols received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Northwestern State University, Natchitoches, Louisiana. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, Tennessee, and is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse.
Originally from Texas, Nichols moved in 2010 to Northeast Tennessee to be closer to family. She worked in cardiac ICU stepdown where she found a passion for caring for cardiac patients. Going into broader spectrum of practice in primary care, Nichols says, “I have a heart for primary care and caring for patients over a longer period of time.” At HMG Primary Care at MeadowView, Nichols will work alongside supervising physician, Dr. James Louthan.
Nichols has two children, five-year-old Kasin and three-year-old Hadley. She is happily married and living in Rogersville with their 25 head of longhorn cattle, “we brought our longhorn cattle so that we have a piece of Texas with us here in Tennessee.”
Holston Medical Group is happy to welcome Nicole Nichols, FNP to the HMG Family of Care. With experience in cardiac care and a heart for primary care Nichols talks about what she is most excited for, “I have a passion for treating conditions of the heart and caring for women’s health. I am looking forward to treating the entire family and doing everything I can for them to keep them happy and healthy.”
