About our specialists

Jeffrey Hunt, MD

Jeffrey Hunt, MD, is board certified in Otolaryngology, and specializes in snoring and sleep apnea treatments, nasal obstruction and pediatrics.

Dr. Hunt has been practicing at HMG since August 1998. He received his undergraduate at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and his doctorate from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his residency at University of South Florida College of Medicine, Tampa, Florida.

Crystal Seluk, DO, FAOCOO

Crystal Seluk, DO, FAOCOO, is board certified in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Seluk specializes in pediatrics, thyroid surgery, facial skin cancer reconstruction and sinus surgery.

Dr. Seluk has been practicing at HMG since August 2017. She received her undergraduate degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University, Lincoln, Nebraska, and her doctorate from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri. She completed her residency at POH Regional Medical Center through the Statewide Campus System of Michigan State University. In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world with her husband and two small children.

Sharon Riddle, AuD

Sharon Riddle, AuD, is certified by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and specializes in amplification and prevention of hearing loss.

Riddle has been practicing at HMG since October 1998. She received her undergraduate degree and Masters of Audiology at East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, Tennessee, and her Doctorate of Audiology at the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida.

Sinus Conditions

Chronic sinus conditions, such as sinusitis, can significantly affect quality of life. These conditions often go untreated because their symptoms mimic those of a cold or allergies. Patients may suffer for years, not knowing help is just a visit away. Our specialists treat sinus conditions of all types and offer assistance for other nasal and breathing conditions, such as snoring and sleep apnea.

Allergy Testing and Treatment

HMG Ear, Nose & Throat provides comprehensive care for a wide-range of otolaryngology disorders experienced in both adults and children. In addition to the most common ear, nose & throat concerns, HMG Ear, Nose & Throat also provides comprehensive audiology services as well as evaluation and treatment for snoring, sleep apnea, nasal obstruction, allergic rhinitis, and allergies.

Your Initial Appointment

HMG ENT offers testing for allergens such inhalants, seasonal allergies and allergens known to be associated with asthma, sinusitis, atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis and more. We also offer custom treatment sets for immunotherapy and provide counseling for environmental modifications that can reduce patients’ exposure to certain allergens. Our expert care significantly improves health and quality of life for children and adults.

In-office procedures include:

Throat Conditions

Typically, when patients come to us with throat conditions, they have experienced issues such as recurrent sore throats, problems with the esophagus or vocal cords, difficulties swallowing and more. Many of these issues can easily be treated with expert care from an ENT specialist. When more advanced treatment is required, such as issues requiring care from an oncologist, our team carefully coordinates care with advanced specialists close to home.

Outpatient procedures include:

  • Sleep apnea surgery
  • Tonsillectomy

Cosmetic Procedures

Some patients require reconstructive flaps or grafts to close defects and normalize appearance after skin cancer removal on the head or neck. Others desire injections that increase fullness of skin and eliminate fine lines. When cosmetic consultation or treatment is needed, HMG ENT offers compassionate care and expert techniques and treatment, in the privacy of our office.

Audiology Services and Ear Conditions

HMG Audiology provides care for infants to adults. We use advanced technologies to identify and treat auditory pathway issues with outstanding results. When hearing loss is identified, we provide the support and resources needed to determine the right option for amplification and/or appropriate listening devices.

Outpatient Procedures

While most procedures are provided within our offices, some require an outpatient surgical setting. Our outpatient procedures are performed at Holston Valley Ambulatory Surgery Center, Kingsport Day Surgery, Indian Path Medical Center and Holston Valley Medical Center.
